Veil of Memory
Work for the Cornell in Rome studio, a project which grew from an obsession with the question of threshold and a fascination with a particular occupied surface near the pantheon that mediates a church and a courtyard. This surface was transformed and added onto in order to create a "museum of the deceased," an opportunity to contemplate the inevitable threshold of death and share the stories of those who had passed through it. Advised by Luben Dimcheff, Maria Claudia Clemente, and Francesco Isisdori, 2020.
